i do.

The thought of saying I do makes me very happy.

The thought of walking down the isle makes me smile.

The thought of being proposed to takes my breath away.

The thought of being with the one, my one, the rest of my life means everything to me.

Words to describe my wedding...
t&co. estate style ring
outdoor wedding
sunshine
lacy dress
laughter, love, family & friends
wine
dancing
photos, photos & more photos
vintage & shabby chic
roses

I can't wait to one day say those magical words...I DO.

elle.

Eleanor Rose Breedlove Eldredge. That is my full birth name. A mouthful to say the least.

Over the years I've come to embrace my name. Love my name. Growing up I always wished I was named Michelle or Maxi. Thankfully at that time I didnt' have the legal right to change my name. I have however adopted many nicknames...

ellie
rosie
rosie applesauce
snore
e squared
ellmanor

And more recently I've taken on elle. A name that suits me well. And most importantly makes me smile.

photo love.

Hi, my name is Eleanor and I am obsessed with taking photos. That is probably an understatement.

Thanks to my mom and her love for the camera, I've carried this addiction well. My camera is always with me. I'm constantly snapping away. And I love it.

Nothing makes me more happy than to upload a ton of photos and load them into a new album on Picasa. I have hundreds of online albums and many more "old school" photo albums at home. Since this love is quite honestly part of my DNA I've had twenty seven years of photo love.

One of my favorite quotes, "when I die I want everything important to me to be documented in a scar or a photograph." I think thus far I've accomplished that and then some.

Happy photo taking!

four agreements.

My roommate Jesica recently posted this print out on the refrigerator at our house. Once again something happening that speaks directly to my heart. To what I'm going through.

Several years ago I read The Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz. The agreements are key in creating a life full of love and happiness. Just what I need and want right now.

Being reminded of this I once again, I'm forced to think about the agreements and realize how I can and need to bring them into my life.

#1- be impeccable with your word- mean what I say & say what I mean. Both aloud and in thought. My words have a strong meaning and affect. That must never be forgotten.

#2- don't take anything personal- let go of things. Don't bring words & thoughts within, just let them pass through.

#3- don't make assumptions- again let go. Allow things to simply happen, but don't hold onto them trying to understand. Never assume since I never know, just let go.

#4- always do your best- do my very best & be proud of everything I do. Rejoice in the moments of success and be happy with the times of failure.

These agreements, seeing them once again at a time like this, are more proof I am getting to where I need to be, I am finding the tools to be happy and be me.

i heart.

In honor of being happy, finding love & knowing myself I've compiled a list of things I love & can't live without...

hot coffee
working out at the gym
sun bathing
being tan
mascara
my freckles
jeans & flip flops
pinterest
yellow blanket
taking photos & making an album
wine tasting
the pool & the beach
eating healthy
quotes that speak to my heart

Made me smile just thinking of all the things I love :)

happy.

This past weekend I was traveling home from Philadelphia, where I was for a work trip. While in the airport waiting for my plane to take off I wandered through the various shops. I realized my flight would be long and a good book was needed. After reading countless book backs I settled on The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin.

On the plane and ready to take off I opened the book and soon realized this book was perfect for me. Perfect for this time in my life.

I couldn't put the book down. Just like when reading Eat, Pray, Love, I felt like the words in this book were jumping out speaking directly to me, directly to my heart.

The book is simple, learn to live your life with more happiness. Easier said than done. But that is exactly what I need.

I started taking notes immediately, wanting the words and messages to resonate and remain with me long after I was done reading...

do new & different things
act the way you want to feel
ask for help
enjoy now
take pleasure in the atmosphere of growth
anticipate, save, express & recall
start a blog

I'm about halfway through the book and look forward to many more lessons learned. More to come! More happiness.

i am.

In finding love & happiness I am trying to find myself. Figure out exactly who I am, what I love, what makes me happy...

Thanks to my therapist I'm finding me by stating exactly who i am...

i am intelligent.
i am empathetic.
i am beautiful.
i am thoughtful.
i am healthy.

more i am's to come...more love to come...more happiness to come...

a new beginning.

Let my blog begin. Let my journey to finding me, finding love, being happy & living life truly start.

"It's not how many times you fall, but how many times you get up..." This is me once again getting up & dusting myself off. I've fallen many times. And thankfully I've been able to stand up even more times.

I now won't just settle for just standing up. I want to stand tall. I want to stand strong. I want to be proud, be happy and be confident.

I am here to find myself. Find love. Find happiness. Becoming Eleanor...
